APEC offers a wide range of educational and social activities. APEC attendees can chose the Registration Category that best fits their need and interests. The chart below shows what access is granted with each registration category.

  • Admission to the Exposition Hall includes the Monday evening Welcoming Reception and complimentary lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Press Passes are available only to bona fide reporters and editors from business and trade publications. Those requesting an APEC 2026 Press Pass will be required to provide valid credentials. Click here for more information on obtaining an APEC 2026 Press Pass.
  • Spouse and Guest Passes are available to the spouses and domestic partners of an attendee with a paid registration in the Full Conference, Technical and Industry Sessions, and Professional Education Seminar Only categories. Only one (1) spouse or guest pass will be issued for each paid registration. Guest passes are not available to friends, other family members, the employees or business associates of a paid attendee, and are not transferable.
  • Future Professional Pass We encourage Future Professionals (minors under 18 accompanied by a parent or guardian) to come experience APEC and see what powered electronics is all about. This complimentary registration includes access to the Plenary Session, Exhibit Hall, Debate Sessions, and Exhibitor Presentations. A separate ticket must be purchased for the Wednesday Night Social, for which the fee is $150.

    To register a Future Professional, the Future Professional and accompanying parent or guardian must go to the Help Desk in the Registration area of the conference. As part of registering the Future Professional, the accompanying parent or guardian must complete and submit the  IEEE Minor Release Form.  

    The accompanying parent or guardian must agree to the following conditions:
    • Future Professionals (Guests under 18) must be chaperoned at all times when in the APEC meeting space
    • A badge or wristband must be worn by the Young Professional at all times when in the APEC meeting space

A complimentary Student Job Fair Only pass is available to students who are not otherwise registered for APEC 2026 but who want to attend the Student Job Fair. This pass also includes admission to the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday and admission to the Debate Sessions. If you wish to attend the Opening General Session, gain access to the Exhibit Hall for multiple days, as well as attend the Student Job Fair, you can register as a General Attendee.  To sign-up for a Student Job Fair Only pass, click here and click the Start a New Registration button.

All registration fees are given in, and payable in, US dollars. Registration fees may be paid with a credit card.

Only IEEE members with a membership that is current and valid on March 22, 2026 or employees of companies that are members in good standing of the Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA) on March 22, 2026 are entitled to register at the Member rate.

Each paper presented in a Technical Session, Lecture or Dialogue, must be associated with a registration in the Full Conference or Technical And Industry Session category. That registration can be at the member, student, Life Member, or non-member rate. Each registration at the Full Conference or Technical And Industry Session category at any rate can be associated with one paper at no additional cost.

To associate more than one paper with a registration in Full Conference or Technical And Industry Session category at any rate, an Additional Technical Paper Fee must be paid. Please note that you must be listed as an author on the additional paper to claim it with your registration.

Wednesday Night Social Event – Extra Ticket
One ticket to the Wednesday Evening Social Event is included with each paid registration in the Full Conference, Technical and Industry Session, or Professional Education Seminars Only categories. Attendees registering at other categories, such as General Attendee, Spouse and Guests, or Future Professionals, must purchase a ticket to the Wednesday Evening Social Event if they wish to attend this event.

APEC will provide a full refund of registration fees, less an administrative processing fee of $75, for any cancellations received in writing on or before February 26, 2026. Cancellations should be directed to registration@apec-conf.org. Telephone cancellations are NOT accepted for refunds. Participant must obtain confirmation of receipt of email from APEC on or before the cancellation deadline. All refunds will be processed to the original form of payment.

After the February 26, 2026 cancellation deadline, there will be no refunds for registrations cancelled whatsoever. Substitutions can be made, without a fee, by contacting the registration team at registration@apec-conf.org.

Hotel reservations must be cancelled separately and directly with the hotel.

If, for any reason beyond APEC’s control, APEC determines that APEC 2026 must be cancelled, shortened, delayed, dates changed, or otherwise altered or changed, Participant understands and agrees that APEC shall not refund the registration fees paid and that all losses and damages that Participants may suffer as a consequence thereof are their responsibility and not that of APEC or its directors, officers, employees, agents, subcontractors, or Sponsors. Participants understand that they may lose all monies it has paid to APEC for participation in APEC 2026, as well as other costs and expenses it has incurred including, but not limited to, travel and lodging expenses.

APEC uses professional photographers and videographers to record people and events at the conference. By registering for APEC 2026 you give you consent to be photographed or recorded on audio or video. You further give your consent for APEC to use, without consideration or remuneration, those photographs and recordings at any time, now and in perpetuity, for any purpose and through any medium.

Important notice regarding COVID-19: You acknowledge that any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. You further acknowledge that you will undertake all measures to protect your own health and well-being and those of others in attendance at APEC 2026 (the event), such measures include following laws, ordinances, and mandates in the locale of the conference. By attending APEC 2026, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold IEEE, PSMA, APEC 2026; Meeting Management Services or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.
