Chosen recipients of the Student Attendance Support program receive a reimbursement of up to $1,250 to cover a portion of the qualified expenses for eligible students attending APEC 2027. Those eligible to apply for the program are power electronics students, undergraduate or graduate, who have been accepted to present papers in a Technical Session at the upcoming conference. Once a Technical Session paper has been accepted, student presenters will be provided application information.
Students can only receive attendance support once so previous recipients are not eligible. The application window closes at 5:00 PM EDT on Friday, October 30, 2026, so apply early! Applicants will be notified by Friday, November 20, 2026 to give adequate time for recipients to apply for early APEC registration rates.

Now entering its 22nd year, this popular program was initiated by the Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA). It is now jointly underwritten by PSMA and the other co-sponsors of the APEC conference: the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS).
