Catalina Island Excursion, Tuesday, February 27, 2024

Avalon Harbor, Catalina Island

Take a day trip to Catalina Island just off the coast of Long Beach on Tuesday, February 27. Visitors can leave all the hustle and bustle behind and return to a slower pace of life, the island life. Whether it’s your first visit or tenth, Catalina Island’s rich history and unique charm keeps people coming back time and again. Upon arrival, there is a guided walking tour to get acquainted with the island for the first hour.

After the guided walking tour, tour members will be free to explore the island and its offerings as they choose. Additional attractions are at the tour member's own expense. One can rent bicycle or golf carts for getting around. There are additional boat tours, scenic tours, unique shopping, and even a bison herd. You can learn more about visiting Catalina Island here.

To get to Catalina Island the group will be taking a ferry from Long Beach. The trip takes about an hour. Once on the island you will have 4-5 hours to explore, have lunch, or just relax before taking a ferry back to Long Beach.
