Women In Engineering – APEC 2026 Travel Grant
Application Deadline January 18, 2026!

A travel reimbursement program has been established for participants who wish to attend the IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) 2026, which will be held in San Antonio, TX, Mar. 22–26, 2026. This program, funded by the APEC Women In Engineering (WIE) Committee, will reimburse part of the travel expenses (up to $500 from North America and up to $1,000 from the rest of the world) associated with the conference. To be eligible for this program, the applicant must:

• Be a member of IEEE or be employed by a company that is a member of the PSMA
• Be available to attend the Women in Engineering (WiE) Event at the conference
• Have a valid full registration fee receipt

Please note that recipients are not eligible to receive other grants to attend APEC 2026. Applicants with a compelling statement explaining why this award is important to them and how they will contribute to the WIE mission will be given priority. While applications are open to all, preference will be given to young professionals with less than five years of work experience. Interested applicants should complete the following application form by Jan. 18, 2026, with valid proof of IEEE membership or being employed by a company that is a member of the PSMA.

APEC’s Industry Sessions offer presentations featuring the latest developments in the power electronics industry. The presentation only format of these sessions is industry friendly as the speakers do not write formal papers.

The APEC 2026 Exposition already has 280 companies signed up to exhibit. You can see and learn about the latest in power semiconductors, ICs, magnetics, capacitors, wire, thermal management, simulation tools, and everything else power electronics.
