Review Portal
Technical Session Chairs are encouraged to review and provide feedback for submitted technical presentations and poster files within the Review Portal. Chairs can send task reminders to presenters through the Portal.
If a Session Chair is also a speaker, they need to use the Speaker Portal for uploading their presentation. The Review Portal is only for Session Chair Tasks, not Speaker Tasks.
Registration
Technical Session Chairs are required to register for APEC 2026 at either the Full Conference Registration or Technical/Industry Session rate.
Conference registration is scheduled to open on October 27, 2025. Early Bird Registration ends on January 26, 2026.
Session Chair Training
A training session for all APEC Session Chairs (Technical Sessions, Industry Sessions, Dialogue Sessions) is planned for [Date To Be Announced]. This training is mandatory for all APEC Session Chairs.
(New) Session Chair Check-in at Conference Venue
All session chairs will be required to check-in at the speaker-ready room on the day prior to their session. More details will be updated here and shared in an email communication.

Speaker Breakfast
Session Chairs for APEC content sessions are required to attend the speaker breakfast on the day of their session. At the breakfast, you will be given materials pertinent to running your session as well as an opportunity to meet the presenters in your session.

Time: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
(New) Student Session Chair Coordination
You will coordinate with your assigned Student Session Assistant (SSA) regarding their duties and guide them to help you with smooth conduct of the session. This can be accomplished by reaching out prior to the conference (preferred) or at the Speaker Breakfast.
